Dr. Conejos graduated in 1997 from Ross University with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She completed one year of clinical studies in University of Missouri. Furthering her studies to provide an alternate method of holistic treatment she completed a certification in Veterinary acupuncture and Tui-Na from the Chi Institute in 2003.
James Baron has a long history, both personal and business, in South Florida. In 2004, Mr. Baron sold his successful paper company, which he built from scratch, to Dade Paper in Miami Florida. He is now Dr. ConejosÂ’ business partner at Greenleaf Animal Hospital. Mr. Baron was born in New Haven, Connecticut and moved to South Florida in 1983 after graduating from Ohio University in 1982 with a bachelor in Science and Communication. Mr. Baron is a loving and devoted father. He has a son named Matthew and enjoys coaching his football team. His 10 year old Golden Retriever named Rusty is his only pet so far. He is dedicated to meeting clientsÂ’ special needs and making sure that their pets are well taken care of
Christine Diaz has been a veterinary technician for 11 years. She has worked at Greenleaf since June 08. Christine was born in Plattsburgh Air Force Base, New York and traveled (and lived) all around the world before moving to South Florida in 1998. Christine has owned many pets over the years including: snakes, bearded dragons, birds, dogs, cats, and a horse. Her pets now are a Staffordshire Terrier named Braulic, two cats named Stimpy and Tia, and a horse named Mickey Blue Eyes. Christine is currently attending FIU and is working on her doctorates in Psychology.
Nathalie Beaulieu has been the receptionist/technician at Greenleaf Animal Hospital for 8 years and is fluent in French and English and is conversational in Spanish. Nathalie was born in Quebec City, Canada and grew up on a farm. She moved to South Florida in 1992. Nathalie has a beautiful daughter named Shanah and is expecting another daughter any day now. She has a Golden Retriever/Chow mix named Goldie that she rescued as a puppy and nursed back to health. She also has 5 cats named: Daisy, Dixie, Minnie, Lyly, and Lolito.
